SUV Launched Onto Ridgewood Lawn In Crash, 1 Hospitalized

One person was hospitalized following a two-vehicle crash that sent an SUV careening onto a lawn in Ridgewood on Wednesday morning, Nov. 20.

The collision, which occurred near a residential and commercial structure at South Maple Avenue and Dayton Street, left one victim with a non-life-threatening back and neck injury. Ridgewood Police, Fire, and EMS responded to the scene, according to incident reporter Boyd A. Loving.

The victim was transported by ambulance to The Valley Hospital for treatment. A tow truck later removed the heavily damaged SUV from the property.

Photos from the crash show the vehicle on the grass near the building as emergency responders worked to clear the area.
